This year, our fall conference is being held November 11-14, 2014 at The Wyndham Lake Buena Vista Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. It is located next door to Downtown Disney and is in close proximity to the parks, food, fun and shopping! All rooms in the contract block are located within the tower and offer beautiful views of either Downtown Disney or Lake Buena Vista.
Register by October 20th, to take advantage of our lowest conference rates. All rates increase by $50 after that date. Please take a look at the agenda to see the wide array of topics that will be covered. This is a great opportunity to learn the latest information available from the Florida Department of Education and learn from other finance officers. We will also hold elections during this conference and there will be openings for each of our six districts. Think about it, this is an excellent opportunity to meet and network with other finance officers and help frame future conferences..

All attendees must complete the online registration process (yes, we have gone paperless!). There are two registration processes; one for conference attendees and one for guests. This will allow you to use a personal credit card for any guests you may bring to the conference.
During the registration process, you will be asked to indicate which sessions you plan to attend. This allows us to make sure there is adequate seating for each session. Be sure to check the agenda prior to starting the registration process.
The conference package at The Wyndham Lake Buena Vista Resort includes room rates of $99, which includes complimentary wifi, complimentary self-parking and rooms in the main tower. This rate is available 3 days before and after the conference if you choose to extend your stay. The Wyndham Resort is also providing a rebate of 5% of our room rate, per paid room night, back to FSFOA to help offset costs. This is a wonderful cost savings measure to our group.
